A: In terms of consistency, The Hydrating Hand and Body Balm is thicker than a Body Lotions or Body Milk. A body balm is a rich creamy, Body Essential made with butters and hydrating oils. In terms of consistency, this is thicker than Body Lotion or Body Milk.
Q: Can you use lotion on your face?
A: It’s better to not use Balm on other areas than Hands and Body. Facial Skin is thinner and more sensitive than skin of the Hands and Body. Body Balm is thicker, and can cause clogged pores.
Q: Can I use The Hydrating Hand and Body Balm on Hands as well on the body?
A: Yes,we formulated one Balm to cover both areas. A perfect balance of active ingredients for soft, supple, and divinely scented hands and body.
Q: How to combine the Body Wash and the Hand and Body Balm?
A: The Body Wash and the Body Balm are a perfect combination to keep your skin not only clean but also nourished and soft. Our Recommended regimen order: Step I. Cleanse. Apply all over body. Massage for rich foam. Rinse well. Use daily when showering or simply add to running bathwater. Step II. Finish with the hydrating Hand and Body Balm. For the best effect, apply to warm damp skin, massaging gently till absorbed for silky smooth body.
Q: What is your definition of Clean Cosmetics?
A: Our products are made with the highest quality ingredients. They are free from artificial colors, free from harmful toxins, and microplastics and are cruelty-free. Many natural, organic ingredients can cause skin sensitivities that build up over time and some can be harsh and abrasive to our skin. Hence why we don’t claim to be 100% natural, but we do claim to be 100% good for the skin and the environment.
FREE FROM: parabens, sulfates, SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate), petrolatum, mineral oils, synthetic colors, silicones, microplastics, animal ingredients. It is highly endorsable to address environmental risks posed by microplastics in cosmetics, as well in other products. For this reason, ZENOLOGY products do not contain any plastics, such as: nylon, polyamide or polyethylene.
Q: Are the Body Wash and Hand & Body Balm Sulfate-Free?
A: Yes, All our formulas are formulated without Sulfates, Silicones, Parabens and PEGs.
Q: Are the Body Wash and Hand & Body Balm gluten-free, soy-free and nut-free?
A: The Body Wash and Hand & Body Balm are not certified gluten-free, soy-free or nut-free. It is manufactured in a facility where gluten, soy and nuts may also be used. If you have an allergy to these ingredients, we recommend that you do not use The Body Wash.
Q: Can I use The Body Wash and Hand & Body Balm during pregnancy?
A: We formulate with clean, effective ingredients and without ingredients on the EU's prohibited substances list. We do not expect any concerns with using the Body Wash and Hand & Body Balm while pregnant and select the safest raw materials we can, however, we also do not test our products to ensure safety with pregnant women. It is advised to speak to your doctor before using any products that you are not sure of using.
Q: How to open the pump of the Body Wash?
A: On the top of the pump, you can see open and stop. Turn the pump in the direction that states open. Keep turning until pump opens.
